Psalm Reflection: Nativity of St. John the Baptist (Cycle B)
“You sift through my travels and my rest; with all my ways you are familiar.” - Psalm 139:3
Do you ever feel like your life has become compartmentalized? Like you have different groups of friends in different settings, and you are a slightly different person with each of them? Who would you be if all those people met? God knows the real you. He knows even the parts of you that you try to hide from other people and He loves those too. He isn’t waiting for you to be perfect, He is just waiting for YOU. Sometime today, sit down and have an honest moment with God. Ask Him to help you be more authentic in all of your relationships, and especially ask Him to allow you to experience His unique and unfathomable love for you today.
We are praying for you.
See you in the Eucharist!
